Chateau de Detilly is (12,000 Sq Ft) 8 bedrooms - 6 baths and has been comprehensively refurbished to a very high standard providing the most discriminating and elegant vacation residence. There are 3 floors. The 12ft high ceilings create an airy spacious feeling. The central flag stone hall has a magnificent stairway that leads to the first floor and a large crystal chandelier illuminates the hall with it's 32ft high ceiling.
Reception/Living Room: to the left of the hall is a double aspect reception/ living room with limestone floor inserted with oak. The walls are beautifully decorated with salmon colored silk tissue tondue. A large Louis XVI mirror sits atop the handsome working fireplace. The crystal chandelier provides an elegant setting. To each side of the living room there is a small library/card room, TV room followed by a studio that leads to the rear of the hall were there is a separate bathroom as well as a fully equipped steam room.
Dinning Room & Breakfast Room: to the right of the hall is the dining room which seats 16 persons. It has a slate floor with oak inserts; the walls are covered with salmon colored silk tissue tondue. A Louis XVI mirror adorns the top of the marble fireplace. Adjoining is the double aspect (South & West) breakfast room with limestone floor and a large aged pine refectory table seating 14. There are double doors to the terrace which is amply supplied with garden furniture, (two 11ft sun umbrellas and a large table to seat 8/10 persons for out door dinning).
Kitchen: the large kitchen has granite counter tops throughout and an 8’ x 4’ granite center island. Cooking on the Cornue stove with its 2 ovens, 4 burners, central hob and griddle/barbeque is a truly magnificent experience. The open fireplace is fitted with a rotating spit. The kitchen is well equipped with 2 dishwashers, 2 - refrigerators and a microwave oven.
Bedrooms – second floor: is approached either up the grand main stairway or via the circular staircase in the tower. Located on this floor are 4 large double bedrooms with King sized beds and large fully equipped connecting bathrooms, 3 of which have a dressing room or walk in closets. The King sized beds on this floor are all a minimum of six foot wide and some as wide as 6'8". Each bedroom has a handsome fireplace and the wall coverings are of gold colored silk tissue tondue.
Bedrooms – third floor: the third floor is approached via the tower staircase to a large bedroom with a four poster king sized bed and connecting full bathroom. There are 3 further double bedrooms each with 2 twin beds and these rooms utilize the 6th bathroom. In addition there is a large fully carpeted family room in excess of 1,000 sq ft.

A fully restored chaple lies within the grounds. An elegant orangery/pool house with a summer kitchen facing south over looking the swimming pool. The gardens around the Chateau boast in excess of 6,000 roses and can be illuminated at night.

CHATEAU de DETILLY - THE COACH HOUSE- On the grounds of Chateau de Detilly this beautiful 3 – bedroom Coach House that has been fully modernized, retaining a wealth of exposed beams with high ceilings on the ground floor. The Coach House has its own secluded and private garden.

On the second level there are 3 double bedrooms, all with fitted carpets. One room has a King (US Queen sized bed) the second and third bedrooms have two twin beds in each. The fully equipped bathroom is located at the bottom of the stairs and has a shower/bath combination.
The toilet is located at the bottom of the stairs.

Modern fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer a combination gas/electric stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker and food processor. Besides a breakfast bar there is a dinning table and chairs for 6 persons.

In the event the main Chateau is rented to people who require the exclusive use of the pool, the Coach House will not be available.

The Jasdi Winery is located in the Csopak wine district were grapes were brought to this region by the Romans over 2000 years ago, the climate is sub Mediterranean and the soils here are different – quite limy and the grapes are ripened by the so- called secondary radiation reflecting from Lake Balaton which doubles the power of the sunshine. Relax and enjoy one of the coveted vacation spots in Central Europe. The Jasdi Winery looks over Lake Balaton were painters and photographers insist that the best panoramas can be seen from the hills around the lake.
